Local Attractions

Turriff is within short driving distance of the famous Malt Whisky Trail. The traditions of distilling and maturing Scotch Whisky (often referred to as 'the water of life' and 'amber liquid') have evolved through the centuries, using crafts passed from generation to generation in a continual process of refinement. Today fine Malt Whisky and blended Scotch Whisky produced from own label distilleries can be found throughout Speyside, where there are many whisky heritage centres and whisky distilleries located in the most picturesque of settings, close to the natural ingredients on which their distinctive style and unique flavour depends.

The Fife Arms Hotel is located with easy access to castles, distilleries, museums, a range of historical sites and the coast, the Turriff area offers an ideal base from which to discover a host of activities available and the beautiful scenic areas for walking throughout the year.
